Hello, in this video I'm going to walk you through making sure that a is going to have access to actually start or onboard a brand new claim.
The first help for this is in the upper right hand side of your ClaimWizard. If they can see the fast entry button then they have sufficient security rights to start a brand new claim in ClaimWizard.
If they don't see this button then you'll want to check their security settings. The first thing you're going to want to do is go over to your star tab for staff, select your staff from the records, and once you're in here you're going to want to go to staff administration.
Within here, if you scroll all the way down to the bottom, you're going to see if they are an originator.
So if this is turned off they do not have security access, if it's on they do. Now please note that there are some roles within ClaimWizard that give this or grant this originator status as part of their security settings, mostly if they are an executive of the system which someone at ClaimWizard needs to set.
